If you plan on building, renovating or performing other type of building work yourself on your own property in New South Wales, and the value of the work will exceed $10,000, you will need an owner builder permit issued by NSW Fair Trading. If the value of work is over $20,000, you will also need to meet the approved education requirement as well.

The NSW owner builder education requirement consists of the following units of competency:

You can enrol and complete these units for the NSW owner builder permit online and in your own time. You can even pay for all units right at the end after you finish it. As soon as all units have been completed, and we have received your fees, you will have instant access to your Statement of Attainment for the above units.
